About StatePaychecks
StatePaychecks answers one question for every US state: how much of my pay will actually reach my bank account?
Each calculator shows a full pay stub, from gross pay through federal income tax, Social Security, Medicare, state taxes and common deductions, so you can see where every dollar goes. We also show what a raise, an overtime hour or a bigger 401(k) contribution really changes.
How we keep it accurate
All figures come from official sources: IRS revenue procedures and publications, the Social Security Administration, and each state's revenue or labor department. We update the tax data every year when new figures are published. Our full method is on the methodology page.
What we are not
We are not a payroll provider, tax preparer or financial adviser. Results are estimates for planning. For decisions about your own taxes, check with a tax professional.
How the site is funded
StatePaychecks is free to use and is supported by advertising and, on some pages, affiliate links that are clearly labeled.
